The Beginning of Sharon Marble MD’s Career

The path one takes from their education to their career is a great way to distinguish what type of professional they will become. In regards to Sharon Marble MD, one can see her great to desire to always be growing. Once Sharon Marble MD finished her education, she was ready to begin helping people. Her first job was at the Mendota Mental Health Institute as a Medical Officer. This was a moonlighting position and allowed her to see all types of patients. This great opportunity for learning was not lost on Sharon Marble MD. Because the facility was a State of Wisconsin mental health facility that housed both forensic as well as civil patients, the variety of treatment needs was great. This allowed her to gain knowledge regarding all types of patients which would help her become prepared for her future practice.

After working there for two years, she moved to Locum a Maine correctional center. It was here that she was able to focus her practice more and gain insight as to better her services. Sharon Marble MD believes in always learning more to better oneself for her patients and for herself. She wasn’t at Locum for long before she moved to Main Correctional Center in the Liberty Healthcare and Correctional Medical Services department where she found a home for her beginning of her career. She felt that at this spot she could learn a vast amount while working with interesting patients that needed her help.
